In order to download and install BearShare, just follow the prompts on your screen.

1.      When you begin downloading BearShare from our website, you will receive this screen:

2.      Click the  button to begin installation. If you want to save the installation file on your computer before running in, click the  button, and then run the saved file.

3.      When downloading you will most probably get the security warning window shown below.

 

4.      Click the  button.

5.      After a few seconds, the file installation screen will be displayed:

6.      It is strongly recommended to install BearShare in the default folder. If, however, you want to use a different folder, click the top  button and choose a destination folder for installing the BearShare application.

7. To choose a different download folder (in which your downloaded files will be saved), click the lower  button and choose a destination folder for your BearShare downloads. You can also choose another disk on your computer.
8. Click the  button to continue.

9. Select the I accept the license agreement checkbox, and click the  button.
   The installation progress bar is now displayed:
   
   
10. In the next screen you will be offered to set Google with BearShare as your start page:
    
    

11.  Click the  button to continue the installation and set the new start page, or click the  button to continue the installation without setting the new start page.

12. The last screen in the installation process is displayed:

13. Click the  button to complete the installation and create a BearShare Quick Launch icon on your desktop and run BearShare now.
    You can click any check box to clear it.

 

BearShare has been installed on your computer successfully and the registration screens open automatically.
