The only reason Ayanokouji is not that good looking is because he does not want to stand out. If Ayanokouji wanted, he could easily steal anyone’s heart away, without even making much effort at that.
He deliberately goes for an average look. And then, even after that, makes sure that everything else about him is also average. He does not like to stand out and tries to stay under the radar so that no one can notice his presence.
Ayanokouji is an anime bad boy with insane levels of intelligence, and more so, an extremely dangerous personality to go along with it. He knows the human behavior patterns extremely well and uses his knowledge to manipulate the people around him.
Kyo Sohma: Anime Bad Boy With a Soft Heart
Kyo Sohma from Fruits basket may at first seem like a textbook example of a bad boy you should stay away from. But, he is a kind-hearted individual with a broken heart.
Since Kyo was once betrayed in the past, he tries to not get close to anyone. This is because he has a weak heart, and does not want to get hurt and more so, pitied by others again in any manner.
So, in order to stay away from people, Kyo is prone to being a jerk. He will shout, get angry at almost every little thing, and even say a lot of stuff that he should not say.
Although he does not do any of these things out of malice or contempt for anyone. Kyo just doesn’t want to be close to anyone ever again in his life. Kyou may be a bad boy because of personal reasons. But his perfect looks, combined with somewhat a hot n cold personality makes him one of the most memorable bad guys in anime.
Kiritsugu Emiya: Tragic Anime Bad Boy
Kiritsugu Emiya from Fate Zero is by far one of the most loved characters from the Fate Franchise. He lived a tragic life, where almost every single person he loved was either sacrificed by him or killed due to the circumstances at hand.
Emiya loved a lot of women in his life and even had multiple lovers at times. He is often described as someone with a brooding personality, and an even colder gaze.
He is not someone you or anyone should ever get involved with, but Emiya Kiritsugu is just too hot to ignore. He has a kind heart, and if only Emiya was never involved with the mages, he would have lived a much normal life.
He is a bad boy character who is a victim of his circumstances. Emiya Kiritsugu is not evil and does not want to kill, or hurt anyone. But his duty to his master and himself is more important to Emiya than anything else.
Itachi Uchiha: Misunderstood Anime Bad Boy
Itachi Uchiha is one of the most important characters from Naruto. He is responsible for killing off his entire clan, and more so joining the Akatsuki as a double agent for the Hidden Leaf Village.
Itachi loved his clan, and his family more than anyone else. But his sense of responsibility to uphold peace and balance was greater than even that. He was driven against a wall and forced to slaughter his own family and even his lover because duty called for it.
Itachi had the kindest of hearts in all of Naruto. He hated it when he was forced to kill, and even spend his time in solitude because he just could not bring himself to be friends with anyone else after what he did to his clan.
But, despite doing all that, Itachi is one of the most badass bad boy characters in anime, that we just can’t seem to get out of our minds.
Lelouch Lamperouge: Tragic Genius
Lelouch VI Britannia is the eleventh Prince of Britannia and the main protagonist of the infamous Code Geass series. He is a rather intelligent man who was banished over to Japan after his mother’s assassination when he was 10 years old.
Lelouch grew up without any parents and was forced to become an adult early on to take care of his little sister Nunally and get back at his father, the King of Britannia. He hates his family, and later on even started to detest the Royal Family of Britannia because of what they did to his mother.
What gives this character that signature anime bad boy vibe is his willingness to go to great lengths to achieve his goals. Thanks to his tactical genius he is also someone that can get things done in the most efficient way possible
Levi Ackerman: One of the Best Stoic Anime Bad Boys
Levi Ackerman is one of the most beloved anime characters from Attack on Titan. He plays major roles in the series as the pinnacle of humanity’s strength against the Titan’s and as the most important key character responsible for keeping Eren safe initially. And then leading on huge expeditions for the sake of Humanity in Wall Maria.
He is often regarded as the strongest soldier that humanity has to offer and is even able to make Titan’s tremble in face of his sheer strength and determination as a human.
Just like other anime bad boys on this list, Levi has a very kind heart and he loves his comrades more than anything else in the world. He lived a very tragic life, where he witnessed all of his comrades get killed in the most tragic way possible.
